Happy Spring to all!
I'm so glad the temperatures are getting better. It was a long, cold and hard winter.
With the warm season around the corner, I am looking forward to longer days, warmer nites and enjoying summer!
On a business note, I hope to help out small businesses with learning the advantages of having a website, with a blog. Technology like this can only help any size business or service.

ReplyDeleteI happen to be on the DIY network.com blog and saw great ideas and thought that I'd post why its great to have a website:
1. If you provide a service and want to introduce your new product or idea, you can. The first place most people go to these days is a website. I can't remember the last time I didn't asked the local restaurant, flower shop or any other place if they had a website. They are so handy and more resourceful than just a flyer.
2. If the economy has hurt your business and you have to layoff employees and shut down your facility but still have inventory, why not have an ecommerce site with paypal. With these two features, you can sell your goods and payment is made online.

A client of mine asked me: why do I need a website. My response to him was "well, you have a business, right?" ..well yes, he responded...I explained how crucial to any business person that having a website will only improve his business especially in these tough times. It can't hurt! He continued to say that he's the only one in his field that is certified to do this work. he's not concerned about loosing business. I told him that he needs to build his business to maintain strength and having a website will help him out while he's working!
